UMPSA UNIVERSITY E-LEARNING AWARD
BACKGROUND
The University E-Learning Award (APU), initiated by the Center for Instructional Resources and E-Learning (CIReL), under the Department of Academic and International Affairs (JHEAA), is one of the prestigious annual awards at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) for e-learning.
E-LEARNING AWARD
There are two categories:
- Faculty/Centre E-Learning Award
- Micro-Credentials Award
This award recognizes the significant contributions of faculties and centers to the success of e-learning at UMPSA. It symbolizes ongoing commitment to excellence while fostering innovation in educational technology. It also inspires Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to innovate in teaching and learning, as well as the wider UMPSA community.
The goal of this award is to nurture an innovative e-learning culture and creativity in pedagogical approaches. This prestigious award also strengthens UMPSA’s identity in achieving excellence, enhancing the university’s reputation, and showcasing the commitment and dedication of UMPSA members in shaping the future of education through technology and academia.
OBJECTIVES
- To recognize excellence, expertise, and best practices in e-learning by UMPSA academic staff, focusing on innovation in teaching and learning.
- To inspire innovation and improve accessibility and flexibility for academics in UMPSA’s educational technology innovation, particularly for high-quality teaching and learning.
- To encourage UMPSA academic staff to further efforts in cultivating excellence in human capital development through teaching, supervision, learning, and more.
