1) Acting as the main body that determines the director of the university from the aspect of cultivation and implementation of policies of quality and planning of its positioning in the higher education industry within the country and abroad.

2) Disseminate accurate and credible UMP corporate information to the top management for the purpose of regulating and planning the preservation of the institution and its future glory.

3) Act as a think tank on behalf of the university in deciding university's future direction in a strategic manner.
