RESEARCH, INNOVATION AND COMMERCIALIZATION AWARD
BACKGROUND
The Research, Innovation, and Commercialization Award is established as an initiative to recognize and appreciate the achievements of academic staff in producing high-quality, high-impact publications and research with commercialization potential, supporting the nation’s development toward technological advancement and global competitiveness. This award also serves as an initiative to cultivate a culture of research, innovation, and commercialization among academic staff at UMPSA, ultimately contributing to the university’s efforts in achieving the strategic objectives outlined in the UMPSA 25 Strategic Plan.
OBJECTIVES
- To recognize and appreciate the contributions of academic staff in the areas of research, innovation, and commercialization;
- To serve as a catalyst and motivation for UMPSA academic staff to further enhance their excellence in research, innovation, and commercialization;
- To encourage the culture of research, innovation, and commercialization among UMPSA academic staff; and
- To act as an initiative to improve the visibility and reputation of UMPSA in research, innovation, and commercialization both nationally and internationally.
